when the part 2?!

This is the scariest format of games for me! How to sleep after this?

Not what I expected at all, but very cool!
It definitely has a much better story than I expected. If you like this and similar short story horror games, check out my channel.

Unfortunately, the promising atmosphere is just ruined by way, way too many pauses. Everything feels like it takes about three times longer than it should. There's a few moments where some tension is raised, but it's almost always immediately stifled by some form of pause that's entirely divorced from the situation itself.

Decent effort for a first attempt, though. I suspect you'll be rather good if you keep trying. I'd suggest getting someone to play through your next attempt and judge how the tension holds up, since there's only a few changes that would be needed to make this rather good.

Edit: Oh, and to echo a few other folks, it would be best to find a theme for your game and stick with it. It kinda feels like you were trying to hit all the typical analog horror tropes, even when they didn't really match what you were presenting. In particular, the mandela catalog goofy faces and the 8-bit retro game segment felt completely out of nowhere, and definitely stifled any atmosphere that was building.

This one was wild! I was not expecting the ending to go that way. Great work, definitely creepy!

(my recording software apparently hated me that day so it's a lil' bit quiet, but I still had a blast, can't see what's next!)

The ending was WILD. eerie game and perfected the analog horror feel. The transitions were a little long but the game was great!

i love these analog horror games, but this one set me off edge more than i've ever been in my LIFE..
